Do you think geography is a relevant subject in school, given that information about geography is so much more accessible via the internet?

Yes geography is important in school because the skills we learn in geography such as critical thinking can be applied to our everyday lives

I agree with you, skills suck as critical thinking may not develop correctly if we do not have the practice and guidance that we get from Geography

Yes, I believe geography is a relevant subject in school. I believe this because although the information is readily available online, we may not be able to interpret the information correctly. Certain skills are easier to learn in a classroom setting, skills like map reading and being able to identify map type are easier learned in the classroom than on your own.

I completely agree with you. It is a whole lot easier to learn in a classroom in environment than on the internet where there are so many suggestions

Yes i do think geography is a relevant subject in school. :) It might be accessible from the internet, but noone is really looking that up. In a classroom we would learn about whats happening around the world..and see how our everyday lives are being affected. :) kbye

Yes I believe it is relevant to school because kids nowadays are interested into Gods makings and wonderful work he has done. And also it can applied to our everyday lives.

I do not believe that geography is relevant in school anymore. Anything that I need in my daily life related to geography can be accessed by the tip of my fingers thanks to the fast-moving technology age.For example simple skills like map reading can be easily demonstrated on a youtube video.

I strongly have a disagreement with this due to the fact that we all need to know how to portray the basis of map an life skill not to ajust to the the fast track of life

I do believe that that geography is a relevant as a school subject. You learn the locations of places cultural characteristics, understanding geography at past times ,and how it plays an important part in our world. However I do agree with Dasha with" geography can be accessed by the tip of our fingers by fast-moving technology."

I do think that geography is relevant in school because j think its important that we learn about our world and the geographical features of it. Even though it can be accessed through technology, it doesn't mean that we will take the initiative to learn about all of this information on our own with all the other social distractions.

Yes I do think that this is an important subject in our school due to the fact that it in forms us about how to use map skills and also the fact that it shows us the basic behind the scenes of what it is to life. See geography show you how to use it brain in ways that you don't even know this can be used in your every day life
