As population increases, our need to preserve and conserve the use of freshwater resources become increasingly important. Potable water is used in diverse ways by countries across the world.

I feel that government should stop pollution. That is one of the main problems that prevent the conservation of freshwater.

To be honest, the government is more focused on themselves than others. They need to make it happen. We are the one that voted for them

Well of course they should stop pollution since that is the main problem but a question is where would all the waste and toxic gonna go instead of the ocean?

I think the government should help to clean salt and freshwater sources of pollution. If pollution gets out of hand then the water will no longer be drinkable and even the rain water will be polluted and un drinkable. Conservation of water is important for the future and I think the government should definitely do something.

The step a need to provide these types of problem can be done by releasing the water back into the ocean. This can in shore that the water pollution can decrease.

The government should enforce stricter rules for pollution, so that the water resources we have now, won't be affected in the later years to come. Since the world's population is forever growing, more houses are taking up spaces where water reserves were created. If this keeps happening, then there won't be much room for water to be stored.

The government can start planting more trees in order for more rainfall, have the community report water wastage, start making policies and investments in infrastructure of water conservation and have another catchment area in the dam. Some factors that prevent the conservation of freshwater are water pollution and wasting of the water.

I think the government should use first start using rain water like Bermuda to conserve fresh water. In Bermuda it is very easy to find fresh drinkable water to support a family while in other countries the water becomes very dirty from the people's waste and other pollution or tonics. To prevent freshwater from being difficult to find and unobtainable we can start by doing little things like recycle, clean the rivers and lakes and other freshwater supplies, being more careful of how we throw away waste and prevent oil spills from occurring.

you have perfect suggestions!! I agree he rest of the world should Start using rain water as well. It is a very good way to get water. im not sure about recycling the water though.. once water is used I think we should get rid of it. BUT good points.

I believe the government would need to put restriction on the amount of fresh water in each household. Just like in China how households can only have one child because of over population. Pollution affects the conservation of freshwater. When people put trash in clean water sources it causes the freshwater to be polluted and unpure.

A-A-ron. restricting on the amount of freshwater we give people is a good idea. but with this point I have a question.. if everyone has the same amount of water wouldn't Big household run out of water faster.. That wouldn't be fair they would need more.

I feel that the government should start a movement to not pollute our waters. They should show the people the damage that will be caused if our natural water is polluted, their will be no more freshwater. We can conserve by water management. By the climate change it will increase the pressure of natural water resources.

You know how people use their sink and there is so many leftovers of water. There should be tube where the leftover water immediately goes to the freshwater so that there is more extra water

Freshwater is at shortage, but instead of using up what little we have first, we should create distillaries to improve salt water to be convertable to freshwater.

To help stop water pollution we can not litter or put on an event where we can clean up rivers that are freshwaters.

I think that they should stop people from fishing in certain areas because this will slowly stop the pollution that is taking place. It will stop the pollution because the fisher men won't be able to drop there bags or drink cans and food rappers over board so some of the water would be clean.

There are many Factors that prevent freshwater consumption. One of the main factors is Pollution. There are many Runoffs from agricultural and urban areas that pollute the water quality. The amount of Construction and cutting down of tress surprisingly also affects the freshwater consumption.

The government could insole Low-flow shower heads sometimes called energy-efficient shower heads as they also use less energy,Factors such as climate change will increase pressures on natural water resources especially in manufacturing and agricultural irrigation.

fresh water and fresh lakes are getting polluted by man dumping raw sewage and oil in them other things are getting dumped and ruing our fresh water supply are pesticides. So to stop the pesticides we should encourage more farmers to become organic and grow crops without the use of pesticides

I strongly recommend that we as Bermuda have a strong base foundation due to the fact that we are surrounded by water the space of the preserve great water we have is very low in order to preserve this is to set laws in place to stop the cutting down of places that have to do with water preserved place set aside for fresh water
